Dan Childers, Owner
- Owner of Tigard SUV & Auto Repair Dan Childers oversees all aspects of daily business operations. Dan is an ASE Certified Master and Advanced Level Technician, as well as a recognized DEQ Advanced Level Technician. He takes pride in quality craftsmanship and has set high standards for customer service. In 2011, Tigard SUV & Auto Repair was recognized by Angie's List and received a Super Service Reward. Dan is an active member in his community and supports local teams. He is a sponsor for Southridge High School Football, Lacrosse, Wrestling, Volleyball, Baseball, Cheer and Equestrian teams. In addition, he supports several Murrayhill Little League teams. Dan enjoys rebuilding muscle cars and is especially fond of the Classic 1970's Pontiac GTO.
Chris Dillon, Service Manager
- Chris Dillon, our Service Manger brings 20+ years of automotive industry experience to our company. At the age of 8, he completed his first valve grind on 1974 Dodge Ram Charger 440 magnum, which is still running today. Chris developed a love for cars at the young age of 2, as he was guided by his father through the years; he gained an unprecedented amount of vehicle knowledge. Chris is an avid outdoor enthusiast, he enjoys fishing and hunting. He is passionate about music, fast cars and firearms. Chris has strong family ties, works hard for them and always looks forward to spending time with them.
Courtney Cray, Lube Technician
- Courtney Cray is currently attending Portland Community College in pursuit of her Bachelors Degree. She has been with us for 6 years as a shop helper/lube technician; 2 years ago she was promoted to our lube tech position and is learning all facets of vehicle service and repair. Courtney is a sports enthusiast and animal lover. She enjoys skateboarding, playing and watching softball, basketball and soccer. In her free time she spends it with friends, family, her two dogs and cat. Courtney aspires to walk in her Uncle Dan's footsteps as a Master Level Technician.
Lee Garnett, Technician
- Lee Garnett graduated from Henry Abbott Vocational-Technical School. He has 25 years of experience in the automotive industry and is an ASE Certified Master and Advanced Level Diagnostic Technician and an Undercar Specialist. He also has Ford certified training on 7.3 & 6.4 Power strokes and specializes in Volkswagen and Audi. Lee performs all facets of diagnosis and repair on import and domestic vehicles. He is a member of i-ATN International automobile technicians' network and ASE. In his off time, Lee enjoys spending time with his family.
